Launched on the morning of April 1st via social media, the company’s latest digital campaign invited customers to visit its website to create and order their made-to-measure – bespoke – car of their dreams. Using Artificial Intelligence and a short series of questions, the system swiftly generated a rendition of the customer’s perfect car, which was then presented for purchase – along with confirmation of the prank.

While this year’s AI-inspired April Fool’s initiative remained humorous and lighthearted as in years past, AI-driven innovation is right up ahead for us and our industry.”
Launched on the morning of April 1st, more than 10 000 cars were generated on the platform, and users keep on creating more to this day. HGregoire recorded a 300% traffic increase to its website that day. The campaign was viewed by more than 1,5 million people on HGreg’s social media platforms, and included the participation of various influencers.
