As a follow-up to the campaign launched in partnership with the Quebec Road Safety Education Foundation (Fédération québécoise en sécurité routière/FQESR) to raise awareness among new drivers between the ages of 16 and 24 about the dangers of impaired driving and distracted driving, HGreg is proud to award a $15,000 prize to the winner of Le Championnat des tatas contest selected on January 16, 2023.
The winner is Simon Paul from Montreal who participated in the contest launched by the FQESR as part of its driving courses at Tecnic Varennes.
“We are very pleased to offer this award and support the Quebec Road Safety Education Foundation in its mission to raise awareness of the importance of road safety among young drivers,” declared Harry Kasparian, Vice-President of Marketing at HGreg. “We consider it our duty to our young clientele to contribute to making our roads safer, especially through education. This initiative is very dear to our hearts.”
“We are grateful for HGreg’s generosity in supporting this campaign targeting young drivers,” stated Yves Georges, Executive Director of the FQESR. “An impressive number of people participated in the contest, and we are thrilled with the success of the campaign.”
The $15,000 prize will be allocated to the purchase, lease or financing of a new or used vehicle at one of HGreg’s ten participating car dealerships, as chosen by the contest winner.
