HGREG CONTINUES SUPPORT IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH MÉLISSA TREMBLAY AND HER TEAM “THE ROADRUNNERS” FOR THE 2023 ULTRA MARATHON OF SAGUENAY-LAC-SAINT-JEAN.

HGreg is proudly supporting one of their employees, Mélissa Tremblay and her team, “the Roadrunners”, who is a controller at HGrégoire Saguenay. They will take initiative and run to raise donations and awareness during the Ultramarathon, which is over 300 km in support of children who have been diagnosed with cancer. HGreg has made a donation of 1250$ towards Leucan in support of the “Roadrunners” and their fundraising goal.

The Ultramarathon Leucan in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean will be held on June 1st and 2nd of this year. The athletes will be running 300 km in 32 hours, with the goal of raising funds for the fondation de Leucan Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.

About the Ultra Marathon

The Ultra Marathon consists of two days of running or walking through Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean. This is an extraordinary personal achievement and an unparalleled pride in accomplishment, but above all it’s a gesture of solidarity towards children with cancer and their families. Participants collect donations from the start of their registration until the day of the event to reach their goal. The funds raised will be donated to Leucan Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and will thus enable the Association to offer children with cancer and their families numerous services, in addition to support for clinical research, to improve the cure rate.
