Last April, HGreg launched its sixth annual “Buy a Car, Plant a Tree” campaign in partnership with Tree Canada. Since the start of this campaign, $10,055 has been raised to contribute to this environmental development project, through which over 2,011 trees have been planted.
“We are very proud to be able to donate to this cause, which helps ensure the well-being of our environment,” explained Harry Kasparian, Vice-president of Marketing at HGreg. “As one of Canada’s largest new and used car retailers, it is our responsibility to support initiatives such as these–and we will continue to support Tree Canada in its undertakings, as we have been every year.”
“We are very pleased to be able to continually count on HGreg and its generous support,” stated Nicole Hurtubise, Tree Canada’s Executive Director. “With this donation, we will be able to build better living environments and plant trees throughout Québec.”
Since the start of its partnership with Tree Canada, HGreg has contributed a total of $25,000 and planted over 5,000 trees.
