HGREG NAMED A FINALIST IN THE ENTREPRENEURIAT CATEGORY OF THE FÉDÉRATION DES CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DU QUÉBEC’S MERCURIADES AWARDS

HGreg has once again been selected as a finalist in the Mercuriades Awards competition presented by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ), this time in the Entrepreneuriat Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton category.   Last year, HGreg received top honours in the Accroissement de la productivité Investissement Québec category and was a finalist in the TELUS Technological Innovation category.

The Entrepreneuriat category rewards companies that have implemented a winning business growth strategy, developed an effective succession plan, or successfully transferred their business from one generation to the next.

“HGreg is always looking for ways to improve its business processes to benefit its customers, and our strategy has proved to be a winning one,” explains John Hairabedian, President of HGreg. “We are proud to see our efforts rewarded with a third nomination in the prestigious Mercuriades competition.”

Launched in 1981 by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ), Les Mercuriades is now Québec’s most prestigious business competition. Each year, it celebrates the innovation, ambition, entrepreneurship and performance of local businesses, from SMEs to large corporations.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 6.
