HGREGOIRE MARKS MILESTONE EXPANSION INTO WEST COAST

HGregoire, a proudly Quebec-based company, announces today its expansion into the U.S. West Coast with the acquisition of Metro INFINITI of Monrovia, located in the Greater L.A. market, and opening of a fulfilment centre also located in the region.  The expansion, estimated at more than $40 million, marks a pivotal moment in the company’s history as it fully establishes new roots on the West Coast.

“We’ve been planning our expansion into this large and fast-growing market for quite some time,” says John Hairabedian, president of HGregoire. “We’ve had a stable volume of customers from the West Coast over the years but now, through this move, we will be able to offer them a wider breadth of services that our customers in Quebec and Florida have enjoyed over the years including same-day delivery, easy returns or exchanges and a fully seamless omnichannel experience.”

Building on growing demand for quality pre-owned vehicles at more affordable price points and appreciation for its tech-first, customer-centric approach, HGregoire is employing a growth strategy that has worked extremely well for its HGreg.com brand in Florida. The company opened its first location in the Sunshine State in 2009, in Miami-Dade, and now enjoys state-wide coverage through a network of eight storefronts as well as its user intuitive and robust e-commerce platform HGreg.com.

“Our brand promise of redefining the car buying experience through a customer and tech-first approach is more needed today than ever before,” says Hairabedian. “Through life’s many twists and turns, our customers appreciate access to quality cars that fit their particular stage in life and changing needs. We’re here to help make this happen over and over for our customers and are happy to invite our West Coast friends fully into this brand promise and community.”

Metro INFINITI Monrovia will now become HGreg INFINITI of Monrovia. The Quebec-based group already owns and operates six new car dealerships under the Nissan or INFINITI banners across the continent.
